Stripes and Healthy Goals

Here are just a few things I've been loving lately...Photobucket Stripes. Now don't get me wrong, I don't love all things striped. I'm still quite particular about the colors involved and the widths and the overall fit of the striped garment. However, if used correctly, stripes can be incredibly flattering.Photobucket
Stripes on feathered earrings? Yes please...this particular pair was a Christmas gift from my sister. They effortlessly add a playful pop to any date night outfit.PhotobucketLastly, I'm loving my new workout shoes. The bottoms are wonderfully flexible, awesome for running, walking, and all around exercising. This reminds me...I need to give an update on my weekly health goals I've been implementing since January first...

You may remember:

Week 3 - I unfortunately didn't have a new healthy focus this week...
Week 4 - Exercise six days. I never blogged about this goal, but I did achieve it last week and I'm pressing on...

Wednesday I'll write more about my healthy habit goal for week five. I can hardly believe February is nearly here.

I hope you've had a lovely January.

Lots of love,

  1. Ha! I was just thinking about posting how addicted I am to certain stripes lately! Especially navy and white nautical stripes! I know they have been around forever, but in the past I've never been a huge fan and now I am falling in love with them!

  2. I love that striped top! I agree, stripes can be iffy, but you've definitely pulled them off with that outfit! I'd love to hear more about your healthy goals. I really need to get back on track as far as exercise goes! If you need an accountability buddy let me know! I sure could use one myself! :)

  10. Stripes are so fun. I'm pretty picky about the colors and fit when it comes to wearing them though. Your workout shoes are so cute! Love the pink. :)

  11. I LOVE stripes... but I agree- they have to be somewhat skinny, but not too skinny to actually be flattering- thick stripes make YOU look thick, and so-thin {practically lines} give me a headache when I look at them. :)

    And I agree- I need SLEEP {going to bed at 1 or 2 and waking up at 5:30 or 6 am is just not healthy,} drink more water {SO bad at this... I think I am beyond dehydrated most of the time... really bad,} and work out {I hate it because it hurts my knee--- I have osteochondritis in my left knee- awesome... debilitated at 18.}

    Great post.

  12. The feather earrings?! I want them! They remind of what Aria on Pretty Little Liars wears.
