A Slip Cover for Me

What I'm wearing today. I finally finished it just in time to link up with The Pleated Poppy's What I Wore Wednesday... Photobucket
I've been working on this sweater for over a year. Don't worry, I took many many breaks. Photobucket Believe it or not, the part that took the longest was the sleeves. I know there really aren't any sleeves... But, I had initially intended to make long sleeves with a flair at the wrist. Photobucket After much trial and error, I finally concluded that a sleeveless sweater would be best. And the coolest part about a no-sleeve sweater is its versatility. I can layer it with a long-sleeved colored shirt when the weather gets a little chilly, or just go sleeveless in the sun. Photobucket
So cozy and soft. This is the first item I've made for my own selfish pleasure in quite a long time... Kinda feels like my birthday.

I only wish I had better photos to share. I did the best I could with the evening lighting and no tripod. Hopefully you get the general idea.

Happy Wednesday everyone.
