I've been feeling a bit granny-like lately. Thankfully minus the aches and pains.
Allow me to explain. It is Friday night and I plan to cozy up with a blanket and some tea, take out my new store-bought floss, and indulge myself in the art of embroidery.
And I'm thoroughly excited about it. Call me Granny Courtney if you wish... Although I sincerely hope I'm not the only 27-year-old to exercise such pastimes on a Friday evening?
p.s. I've nearly finished what used to be the mustard circle from yesterday's post. It turned into a lovely little hat with a cream-colored brim. Needless to say, I'm quite pleased.
Happy Easter weekend everyone!
Nope, not granny-ish at all! =) I love needlepoint, can't wait to see your finished creation!
ReplyDeleteCute! I like your blog! :)
ReplyDeleteNope not granny! I consider it a lost art! :)
ReplyDeleteOooh! Looking very cute! I had friends that laughed a little (all in good fun) when I was doing a lot of crocheting... Apparently it is a little granny...but who cares!?! :)
ReplyDeleteHahaha, granny Courtney! You're funny :P. How have you been, girl? I think your prayers are working! I had a phone interview last week; I don't think I'll get the job after all, but that's ok. I'm quite happy about another position I hope I'll get. Thank you so much for the prayers, Courtney!!!
ReplyDeleteHope you're having a great week! ;D
