Feminine. 

Unique. 

New.

This is who God made me: feminine, unique, and new. I started this blog just over two years ago and the name I chose came to me in fragments. The day I decided to start blogging, I sat at my computer completely stumped. I couldn't think of a title to type into the header. I'm sure this is not an uncommon problem. All I could think of was the word fun. I wanted it to be fun. I wanted a space to create and grow, but mostly I wanted it to be fun. So I typed in FUN and smiled. It was good.

The next fragment of creativity came to me while I was trying to fall asleep one night. I had this idea to fit each letter (of the word FUN) with a descriptive word that inspired me. After much over-tired brainstorming, I landed on Feminine. Unique. New. It was a hit!

It's now been two years with that title and as I think about it more, I'm realizing how fitting those words truly are for me. At first I chose them only because they seemed to fit my overall aesthetic; but now I see how accurate they are in a spiritual sense as well. God made me beautifully feminine, wonderfully unique, and He gave me new life (as a Christian).

As I blog more and more, I'm discovering the things that deeply matter to me. And I want to speak about them. I love people. I want them to know God sent His Son Jesus to save them. I want them to know that they can go to Heaven if they would only believe on His name. I don't want to be the person who keeps that a secret.

I delight in God and know He created all things. I thoroughly enjoy the wonders and simple pleasures of His Creation. He warms my heart with so many good things.

That's my story. This is me...

I'm an artsy sort of girl who loves taking photos, dressing up, going shopping, drinking tea, sipping coffee, reading books, crocheting pretty things, listening to music, and playing the piano. I'm a wife, a mother, a classical pianist and piano teacher, a shop owner, and a lover of Jesus Christ my Savior and my King.
